Toyble Revealed as Author of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission Manga

Toyble, the author of a popular Dragon Ball AF doujinshi, has been revealed as Toyotarō, the author of the Dragon Ball Heroes manga that is being published in V-Jump (as many of us already suspected). Toyble has made two pages for the "Dragon Ball AF Magazine Vol. 2" doujinshi in which he hints at it. As Herms translated on the Kanzenshuu forums: "It says that Toyble (...) cannot continue the (DBAF) story because he has begun something else instead. In the last panel (a shadow of a Dragon Ball Heroes character is shown and) Toyble writes that he cannot currently continue drawing AF, but it is very dear to him and he intends to continue it no matter how many years it takes."

Toyble's Plant History

Herms has translated Toyble's planet Plant history: "The Plant-seijin/"Plantians" seen in Episode of Bardock were the first inhabitants of Planet Plant. Then the Tsufuru-jin migrated over, and the two races got along fine. Eventually the Saiya-jin show up too. The Tsufuru-jin are initially opposed to the Saiya-jin settling on Plant, but the Plantians allow it, because they remember the legend of the golden-haired warrior who saved their planet a thousand years ago, and who had referred to himself as a Saiya-jin. So the Tsufuru-jin respect the Plantians' wishes, since it is originally their planet after all, and a peace treaty is made between the three races. 200 years later, in Age 720, King Vegeta breaks this treaty and leads the Saiyan-jin against the other two races. The Plantians are aghast: "What about the legend of the golden-haired Saiya-jin who saved us? That's why we let you settle here in the first place!" "Hmph!" says King Vegeta "Everyone knows Saiya-jin only have black hair. You must be thinking of someone else." King Vegeta and co. wipe out the Plantians and go on to fight the Tsufuru-jin. And the rest is history."

Episode of Bardock Anime - Online Worldwide

Audiences worldwide can now enjoy the anime adaptation of "Episode of Bardock", as Toei Animation's "Anime Jan" website is currently offering a free stream until December 28, 2011 that is not region-locked (but without subtitles).

Bandai, in conjunction with V-Jump and Saikyou Jump, has launched Dragon Ball SSSS (keywords are S (Saikyou), SS (Super Saiya-jin), and S (Secret)!). This project, in their own words, has been conceived "In order to take the first step towards new developments and further expansions of the 'Dragon Ball' titles". More concretely, projects include what we have announced a couple of days ago: to air the movie "Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiya-jin" online, and the anime adaptation of "Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock" by Ooishi Naho.
