The December 2013 issue of V-Jump (which was officially released back on 21 October 2013) had a series of interviews with various authors and artists promoting all sorts of Dragon Ball material, including the latest updates coming to Dragon Ball Heroes.

Included was a lengthy Q&A with Toyotarō directly from V-Jump (and Saikyō Jump) Editor-in-Chief Akio Iyoku. They discuss how “Toyotarō” got involved with drawing, his Dragon Ball Heroes deck, and more!

Toyble Revealed as Author of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission Manga

Toyble, the author of a popular Dragon Ball AF doujinshi, has been revealed as Toyotarō, the author of the Dragon Ball Heroes manga that is being published in V-Jump (as many of us already suspected). Toyble has made two pages for the "Dragon Ball AF Magazine Vol. 2" doujinshi in which he hints at it. As Herms translated on the Kanzenshuu forums: "It says that Toyble (...) cannot continue the (DBAF) story because he has begun something else instead. In the last panel (a shadow of a Dragon Ball Heroes character is shown and) Toyble writes that he cannot currently continue drawing AF, but it is very dear to him and he intends to continue it no matter how many years it takes."

Rumor

"Akira Toriyama is rumored to be making a new Dragon Ball series alongside mangaka Naho Ooishi, the creator of the 2008 Dragon Ball Z special "Yo! Son Goku and Friends Return", called Dragon Ball Hoshi. Ooishi will be making a manga that continues the Z manga past the Buu Saga. It will have a newly designed Super Saiyan 4, and even a Super Saiyan 5. Akira Toriyama will be assisting her and backing off. The events in japan (earthquake, tsunami) slowed this down now Toriyama is taking care of that. It's rumored to be out later this year or early 2012."

Fact
What most people are calling "Dragon Ball Hoshi" is actually Dragon Ball Heroes, a Japanese arcade/card game, or Ultimate Tenkaichi. The Japanese word "Hoshi" means "Star" or "Wish/Wanted".

Dragon Ball Hoshi is just a rumor and there is currently no proof of it's existence.
